Medical Volunteering Program
The NGO had a medical volunteer Christopher Nillson, a Physician Assistant from the USA who paid a visit to us.
He volunteered at the Koforidua Regional Hospital for 3 days. Together with the team, we visited Bumpata Island in the Kwahu Afram Plains South district spending two days where patients were seen and treated. Over 100 people were seen and treated. He also made a donation of glucometers, gloves, and cash to the organization.
After his visit, we instituted this project to allow medical volunteers to visit our organization annually to provide healthcare for the poor and needy in Hard to reach areas.
